Porcelain Earrings in support of Dolly's Dream
Bullying. It is truly one of the most horrible, insidious acts. Amy "Dolly" Everett was only 14 when she took her own life in 2018 after suffering extended bullying both in person and online.
Each year on May 8th, supporters wear blue to remember her and raise awareness. I happened to gift a pair of these earrings to a friend on that day and it opened up a deep discussion around the bullying we have both faced in our lives.
I have decided to donate the profits from the sale of each pair of earrings to Dolly's Dream. ($10 per pair of earrings). Funds are used to raise awareness, implement programs in schools and working towards changing culture to prevent bullying happening in the first place.
The earrings are handmade from pure white porcelain. Choose from either the cabachon/half-dome shape in cherry blossom pattern (1 cm diameter and .5cm high), or the deep blue heart with white star flowers. Light and gentle to wear, mounted on non-allergenic stainless steel posts, so they are non irritant.
Thank you so much for your support!
